Independent professional wrestling is life changing, life giving, and one of the most rewarding activities around today.
Whether you are a novice spectator, long time fan, referee, promoter, wrestler, manager, timekeeper, whatever, independent professional wrestling has something for everyone. There are so many different facets to this business, so many stories, and so many aspects that you just would not think of.
That is part of what we want to bring to Indy Dependent. To explore the people in the Indy wrestling scene. The people whose lives for one reason or another have found this fascinating thing called Professional Wrestling, and who have come to be dependent on it. The Indy Dependent if you will.
We will be featuring industry spotlights articles that will give a much deserved look at various people associated with the professional wrestling scene, they will include wrestlers, promoters, ring announcers, managers, trainers, ring crew, commentators, photographers, aspiring students, and of course the die hard dedicated fans who only have jobs to support their professional wrestling habit.
We will also feature interviews, match reviews, upcoming events, and anything else we think you the reader will find both entertaining and enlightening.
I stated before that wrestling changes lives and it did so for my wife and I, as it did for a lot of the people that we have had the privilege of both meeting and getting to know from show to show. What was once a pastime, has become our passion. What was once a crowd of fellow fans, has become a community in which we feel safe, welcome, and accepted. From that community we have found friends which we consider family. That is what we hope to bring to you, the reader.
This website will serve as a window into this truly fantastic independent professional wrestling scene. Our goal is to share our joy and gratitude of all the men and women who give their all to put on a show and entertain anyone and everyone. To, for a few hours here and there, forget everything that brings stress to your life. To give you that chance to escape our reality for a glimpse into a world of good guys and bad guys, superheroes and villains, babyfaces and heels.
